Sabotage...

I said I would run a 1/2 marathon and then the sabotage began. We have a treadmill that collects dust. The kids play fort on it and hide out on it and eat candy. Well, a couple of weeks ago my mom came over to borrow it and it wouldn't start. That night I told Cody that the treadmill wouldn't work, Aidan happened to be standing there. Aidan being completely serious joined in on the conversation with "Yeah, the other day when I put a quarter in it the quarter popped right out." You can imagine our surprise... That was the 1st sabotage. Today I finally went to run and when we got home a really cute little girl delivered GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!! AHHHH!

  1. I have been trying to get back in a routine with my ellpitical... well I've been sick with a nasty cold all week... so now it's another week down the drain! But good for you for running! I'm lucky to walk a couple miles.

  2. That is absolutely hilarious. I wish that it was my kids who sabotage me. In actuality, I think that it is me. You would think that I would care more....I don't, unfortunately.

  3. OK, so I'm probably stepping out there, but......would you like an internet buddy? (Oh by the way..I'm Tandy's sister.) We couldn't run together, but we could sort of hold each other accountable, etc. Then we could run the race together? Just ideas. No big deal and my feelings won't be hurt if you aren't interested. I was in pretty good shape before I got preggers and now Scout is 7 1/2 months old and I still haven't started running.

  4. Hey Tori,
Sounds great I am going to start writing what I do for the day at the bottom of my blog entries. First I am going to get well, I have been sick for 4 days now with flu something. Anyway, I would love for you to run with us. Maybe we could meet at Plainview one day and try to decide a day that would be good. We have some print outs of some daily goals, I could bring those as well.
I am with Tandy Scout is a cutie!
thanks for the comment look forward to meeting you.
